Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using 65 ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
License Grant
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the App on devices that you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.
Subscription & In-App Purchases
65 Premium
- Monthly: $4.99 USD per month
- Yearly: $29.99 USD per year (50% savings)
- Includes a 3-day free trial for new subscribers
- Provides access to 10,000+ books, all 10 AI voices, unlimited vocabulary, and EPUB import
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings
Free Trial
65 Premium includes a 3-day free trial. During the trial, you have full access to all premium features. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged.
You can cancel the free trial at any time through your App Store account settings.
Refunds
All purchases are made through Apple's App Store. Refund requests must be directed to Apple in accordance with their refund policies.
Content
The App provides access to classic literary works that are in the public domain. These works are free of copyright restrictions.
Pre-recorded Audiobooks: A curated library of 100+ popular books includes professionally prepared audiobooks with word-level time synchronization, available for download.
On-Device Generation: For the remaining 50,000+ books in the catalog, audio is generated on-device using text-to-speech technology when you choose to listen.
If you import your own EPUB books, you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use that content. We do not claim any ownership over content you import.
User Data
Your vocabulary lists, reading progress, and preferences are stored on your device and may be synced via iCloud if you have iCloud enabled. We do not have access to your personal reading data.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the App
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Redistribute, sell, or sublicense the App or any of its components
- Attempt to circumvent any content protection or access controls
- Use the App to infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, and functionality (excluding public domain books) are owned by Ctrl AI, Inc. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Accuracy of translations (which are provided for learning purposes)
- Quality of text-to-speech audio generation
- Completeness or accuracy of book content
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
